Beyond Fears, Adrian Oncu
Often, behavioral patterns are generated by hidden traumas and repressed memories. Fears can condition our existence more than any obstacle that comes from the outside of our being. Self-sabotage is a mechanism for gaining safety and control. Totally embracing of one's own consciousness, with its shades that can ruin social coexistence translates into a major risk.
Aware of the relationship with his own anxiety Adrian Oncu uses art as a mean of confronting the mutilated and forced to silence ego. His project within DRAFT Curatorial Program proposes a path of self-knowledge and self-acceptance, where fundamental questions have a determining role. Responses can be formulated only in the conditions of total isolation from the outside world.
