Baby Talk is a performance by George Roșu at the Young Naturalists Resort in Timișoara, in the context of the exhibition Oasis. Green Identity.

Baby Talk is a pretext for writing with colored magnetic letters on rusty metal surfaces. The artist proposes an action lasting several hours in which his ideas about the fracture between models of communication are materialized in abrupt sentences that condense complicated contexts or situations. George Roșu's practice offers a model for preserving the frankness of communication when the sophistication of language leads to the evasion of meanings.

The toy letters are taken out of their classic circuit and become a serious artistic medium, sometimes composing highly significant statements. The contrast between the form and materiality of the message and the content of the message is obvious.
